Nobody enjoys hunting for a spreadsheet link. So we stopped asking for one — sign in with Google and pick your sheet.
Pick Your Sheet, Don't Paste It
An easier route to the same result — no hunting for the sheet's address, no copying it across.
- Browse instead of paste — the picker shows your Drive. Click a sheet and its address fills itself in.
- A warning if you swap sheets — change the sheet on a source that's already running and Dalgo flags it, because the tables in your warehouse would be orphaned and stop receiving data. It still lets you go ahead if that's what you meant.
Nothing Changes for Your Existing Sheets
This is an additional way in, not a replacement.
- Sheets you've already connected keep syncing — no action needed on your side.
- The service-account key still works — share the sheet with your service account, paste the key and the sheet link, exactly as before.
- You'll be asked to re-pick when you edit — open a saved Google Sheets source and sign in again, and Google asks which sheet. Choose the one the source already syncs; the screen links to it so you can check you've got the right one.
Fixes
- Column types when editing a connection — columns you'd already accepted stay accepted. Previously, reopening a connection asked you to confirm every column type again from scratch.
